Secret Santa: Friends are More Important than Money

It was Secret Santa at work last week and we had a $25 gift maximum.  I thought about going out and finding a gift, but quickly realized how silly that was when I had all kinds of cool shirts in my closet ready to be chopped up!

This is made from one of my cool men’s Lululemon shirts, a men’s button up shirt, and a black pillow case as you can see from some of the pictures.

My mama lovingly helped me cut this one and I’m so glad she did, sometimes it’s nice to have an extra pair of hands around, especially in the middle of a mass of projects =)

I made this tote a taller style so I could fit the entire quote, “Friends are more important than Money,” onto the front of the bag, and I love the way it turned out.  But of course being a secret santa gift I was nervous to see her reaction when she opened it.  But my fears subsided when Kenzie squealed with joy when she found out what her gift was!

SUCCESS!!  She loves it and even likes to wear it backwards to show off the Lululemon logo =)

Hope everyone had a Very Very Merry Christmas!  I thanked Jesus for my sewing machine =)

Thanks for stopping by!

Enjoy!

*****Each product is handmade from second hand clothing and fabrics and is completely one of a kind, I couldn’t duplicate any of these bags even if I wanted too! It’s my way of going green and staying in style.
