Analisa’s First Circle Scarf *Done*

Another FIRST in the By kimB world!

Analisa’s is always giving me new stuff to work on and think about!  She was the first person to challenge me and order a quilt for her baby twin nieces and was so excited with the result!.

She then passed on the quilting fever to a friend of hers who wanted to have a quilt made for their daughter Kelly as she graduated high school

So when  she asked me for a lululemon inspired vinyasa scarf.  These scarves are just like infinity scarves but have a row on snaps along the edges so that there is a much larger variety of ways to wear it.

She gave me a few t-shirts to choose from and requested that they were made very thick.  Nothing scary or unmanageable!  My biggest concern was the snaps!

Was I going to have to get individual snaps and apply them separately? Aye aye aye, talk about needing an intern!

Luckily I did some research and found snap tape!  It’s snaps on a tape =)  It’s perfect!  Just what I needed for this project and it made my life so much easier!

I did underestimate how long it would take to cut the shirts.  Shocking.  So although it was a little more time consuming that I’d originally planned, it made the making of the next two go SO much smoother.

I’m in the process of finishing up the last two for her order and should be done in no time!  Can’t wait to post those pictures for you!

Until then enjoy round 1!

*****Each product is handmade and re-purposed from second hand clothing and fabrics and is completely one of a kind, I couldn’t duplicate any of these bags even if I wanted too! It’s my way of going green and staying in style.
